There appears to be a shift in U.S. divorce courts -- including here in California. More than ever before, women are paying their ex-husbands alimony and child support. According to the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, 56 percent of U.S. divorce lawyers noted an increase in moms paying child support within the last three years and 47 percent recognized a spike in women paying alimony.
